Madie began her baking journey all the way back in 2009 when she baked cakes for family and friends just for the joy of it. By 2016 she had converted a home kitchen into a full time commercial bakery where cakes had prime position in the fridge and first dibs in the oven. When there was literally no more room for cakes in the home, she moved to a small shared commercial kitchen with one bench and quickly outgrew it to move into her very own Mad About Cakes Studio and Kitchen located in Caulfield South (complete with many benches).

If you walk by the studio and peer in you’ll see Madie and her team making cakes from scratch, frosting cupcakes, piping macarons, eating cake cut offs and decorating some of the prettiest cakes in Melbourne!
