You might be surprised to learn about the origins of AMR Hair & Beauty. The founder of the company was introduced to the industry at eleven years old. When packing boxes at a local shop, he realized there was space for a wholesale hair supplier that could close the distance between the production cost and retail price.

By 2004, the journey had begun.

Determined to provide affordable beauty and hair salon supplies, the founder of AMR persevered through plenty of hurdles. He attended exhibitions, sold salon furniture on eBay and leased new premises. It wasn’t long before the demand for AMR exploded. The company even began creating unique beauty and hair salon supplies that were sent directly from manufacturers to salons.

In 2010, AMR was formally registered as AMR Hair & Beauty Supplies Pty Ltd. All those mammoth efforts had led the company to exceed expectations since the beginning. Except, the growth didn’t stop there. Just one year after registering the name AMR Hair & Beauty, the first flagship store in Penrith was opened.

More monumental changes occurred for the company in 2016. AMR created a blog to share knowledge about the hair and beauty industry. For city residents, the newly launched AMR Training Academy provided a space for masterclasses and workshops.
