Picture this – me and some friends, tired, dehydrated and in the middle of nowhere in Viñales, Cuba. We’d spent half the morning hiking to a supposedly spectacular cliffside mural and after our efforts we were expecting greatness. Upon reaching the mural, the reaction was less than enthusiastic. It was cool, but a long way to come for “cool.” As we stood back and took in the Goliath sized art piece, a friend joked that it would’ve been great if they’d had a way to find a better artist to do the job.
