Our ethos has and always will be different to the chain or corporate stores. We can be ourselves and provide you with the service and understanding that we expect.

Your eye exam will be thorough and you’ll get to see amazing images of the inside of your eye (unless you’re squeamish!). We’ll explain things simply and if you don’t need glasses, we’ll tell you. (You could still pick some cool frames and have clear lenses!) This is why we offer more than just the basics. We allow 40 minutes for our appointments. This gives us the time to perfect your prescription, thoroughly examine the health of your eyes and talk through any issues or concerns you may have.

We’re experienced, qualified, and generally know what we’re doing. In fact we are really good at we we do, which doesn’t mean we don’t occasionally make the odd mistake, or forget to order something. But when we do, we fix it so that you are happy, and hopefully then you’ll say nice things about us.

Eye Candy was formerly known as “Langley Pino Eyecare” at our City Walk store which has always been family owned and operated since it was established in 1986. You’ll see familiar faces, have time for an espresso (or something stronger) and get to know us on a more personal level.

We are one of the few Independents bringing new eyewear to Canberra and challenging the boring conformity of the established chains.
