North Shore Sikh Association of Sydney, Guru Nanak Gurudwara Turramurra The Turramurra Gurudwara, located on the North Shore in Sydney, serves the Sikh Community of Sydney. Regular Diwans (religious congregations & meditation) are held daily; however, the main one is every Saturday evening and Sunday morning, in addition to other weekly Diwans. All are welcome, -as long as they observe certain guidelines, like covering their head, entering without shoes on and abstain from any kind of intoxication (e.g., drinking alcohol or smoking) within and around the Gurudwara premises. Guru ka Langar, or Indian vegetarian food, is served daily and after the main Diwans. The Gurudwara, a place of worship, also aims to serve the community in general
