I have a small sewing studio (garage) in Indooroopilly, Brisbane. What I can offer is to:

I have an “academic” interest in repairing vintage clothing and fabric care.

I learnt to sew as a child from my “wartime” Nanna in London. She often said to me that if she didn’t sew it or grow it, they had no clothing and nothing to eat!

Later in my sewing journey, I attended sewing schools. Gradually, whilst at an office job, I found myself scrolling through sewing tutorials, totally immersed. I realised that I was in the wrong job. I got out my sewing machine and told a few people that I was sewing. The rest, as they say, is history.
